Kyle and Martin hadn't a clue at how much their personalities had changed.

Kyle: "Okay, so like, we have to hit the mall ASAP. This party's gonna be lit, and I need a dress that slaps."
Martin: "Yass, girl! Same. I’m thinking something extra, like, total vibe check, but still low-key fire, you know? Not too extra, but just extra enough. We can’t show up lookin’ basic."
Kyle: "For real! I want something that’s got that 'I didn’t try too hard' energy but still makes everyone go, 'Okayyy, she did that.' Like, I want all the eyes."
Martin: "Right?! And we need to scope out those new sneakers I saw online. They’re straight-up goals. Oh, and accessories! We gotta be iced out, but not, like, OD."
Kyle: "100%. Just a little drip, though, not the whole faucet. Oh, and maybe grab some of those frappes while we’re there? They’re low-key the only reason I go to the food court."
Martin: "Facts. Frappes are a must. Oh! And we need to hit up that new boutique by the entrance. I heard their stuff is mad cute but also, like, not gonna kill my wallet."
Kyle: "Bet! Let’s do it. We’re about to be total baddies at this party, for real."
Kyle’s mom pokes her head in the room, a sweet smile on her face.
Kyle's Wife: "Hey girls, do you want anything to eat? I can make some sandwiches real quick if you’re hungry."
Kyle: "Uh, thanks, Mom, but we’re about to dip. Gotta get to the mall before it gets too crazy. Rain check on the sandwiches?"
Kyle's Wife: Confused, but trying to keep up. "Dip? Oh, um, okay, well... have fun at the mall, I guess!" She shook her head at the thought of her husband going to the mall with the personality he now possessed.
Martin: Laughing as soon as her mom leaves. "Your mom’s cute for trying to decode our language."
Kyle: Grinning "I know, right? She’s got no clue, but bless her heart."
